Secretary steel, Mr. Rakesh Singh accompanied by Chairman, SAIL Mr. CS Verma visited SAIL's warehouse at Ghaziabad. Mr. Rakesh Singh appreciated the commitment of the employees and encouraged them to set benchmarks in customer friendly processes. SAIL employees highlighted their efforts towards a swachh working environment as per the earlier directive of the Secretary.
SAIL has a total number of 49 warehouses and consignment agencies across the country. Ghaziabad warehouse is one of the largest SAIL warehouse across the country catering to western U.P. districts covering a vast territorial jurisdiction and the entire Uttrakhand state. Ghaziabad warehouse is accredited with ISO 9001: 2008 Quality Management System and ISO 14001: 2004 Environment Management System.
